Stewardship is a Way of Life: “IT IS IN GIVING THAT WE RECEIVE… ”
- Prayer of Saint Francis.
Once you start to understand how much God loves you, you’ll definitely want other people to experience it too! Our ministries do two things: they show our love for God and they create an environment where others can experience God's love. Everyone has a gift they can share in building a community of God's people.
Volunteers are especially needed as Eucharistic Ministers in masses and in the community, and Lectors for weekend masses. Traing provided. Contact Deacon Paul or Deacon Michael for information by leaving a message at the office (301) 797-4995, ext. 201.
Alter Linen Stewards are the men and women trained to clean the cloths used in the mass that come in contact with the Eucharist. Training is provided in a handout or in person instruction. For more information contact the administrative assistant at (301) 797-9445 ext. 201.
Ushers are the men and women who assist the congregation, organize the collection of donations at the mass and the volunteers to carry gifts to to the alter. Training will be by Joe Helain. Contact the office at (301) 797-9445 ext. 201 to request a training date.
